Reflection Prompts

These prompts are meant to help you gently observe what’s happening during transitions in your own home.

You might want to jot down a few thoughts or simply reflect on them as you move through the week.

Consider:

  • When do transitions tend to feel hardest in our day?

  • What usually happens right before my child becomes dysregulated?

  • Are there moments where slowing down or preparing ahead could help?

  • What small ritual or signal could help my child feel more ready for the next part of the day?

There is no perfect way to do this. Simply noticing patterns is often the first step toward smoother transitions.
