The Seedlings classes are inspired by Waldorf earlychildhood development and the Pikler ways of caring for baby. The classes provide a nourishing environment in which parents and caregivers can find community and deepen their intuitive understanding of their child’s development. Each class will be held in a nurturing environment. There will be a chance to share the joys and challenges of the week as well as a quiet observation of the babies as they engage with their surroundings. Parents and caregivers will learn songs, lullabies, and games that will engage and soothe their infants and provide opportunity to strengthen attachment. Discussion topics  include the importance of daily rhythms, warmth, joyful and respectful care, free movement and self initiated play, sleep and nutrition. Capacity: 8 families.

Drop ins are welcome only if there is space. A $5 surcharge will be added per class fee.
