Siblings are welcome (with a $20/class fee). Please email if you would like to bring more than one child. Accompanying infants are free.
This is a celebration of Summer and a chance to create community and enjoy nature with your children. Each class will include a walk and exploration by the stream, in the garden or forest. Children and parents will engage in seasonal circles and a puppet show. Parents and caregivers will learn songs, lullabies, and games to share at home as well as parenting meditations and observations. While children play freely, parents may have an opportunity for informal conversation as well as a chance to share the joys and challenges of the week. Discussion topics may include the importance of daily rhythms, the child’s senses, self- initiated play, warmth and movement in the young child’s development, and the role of imitation in learning. Capacity: 10 families
Drop ins are welcome only if there is space. A $5 surcharge will be added per class fee.
